It all depends on the type of building and the layout of the structure.

There is no one roof system that is best for all applications. Keep in mind that even if the best materials are used, the roof can still leak if it is installed improperly. Good workmanship and proper attention to detail are just as important as material selection.

Many manufacturer’s warranties cover the materials but not the workmanship.  You should always compare proposals to ensure that you are comparing the same scope of work, as well as the quality and history of the contractor installing the roof.

Yes, heavy snows can damage the roof.  Snow removal, however, must be done in a very careful and particular manner as to not disturb the roofing material.

Roofing maintenance depends on the type, age, and condition of the roofing material, but is a wise long-term financial investment.  To best serve our customers, we offer Preventive Maintenance guidance through our RoofGuard Inspection Program.

In most areas, you are allowed up to two roofing systems on a building at one time.
